Daily stuff

Finally I'm all by myself again, and got time to write stuff down. It feels like I just lost a whole lot of events in the scheduling queue and freed up one gig of my ram. Now I have all the cpu power to think about how to make myself productive and happy.

Eat: Today was udon day. I ate udon in soup for brunch and stir-fry udon for dinner. Udon is truely awesome cuz it only takes 3 min to cook. =)

Study: Read thru half of the textbook, almost 11 chapters. I'm so determined to start on the assignment early..then figured out that the assignment isn't even out yet. I also went thru people's graphics projects from last term, made some screenshots.

Sleep: I skipped dinner and slept for 12 hrs last night. I guess sleeping is the best way to kill time.

Fun: Spent a lot of time on tvb.com. Spent some time walking around, spacing out, thinking about random things. Had some spirited coffee at Williams.

Thngs you do every 10 years

The last time I played in a real basketball game was almost 10 years ago, when I was in junior high school in China. 40 min, I scored 2 points...or maybe 4 points....Today I played in another real basketball game. I was on the court for 40min cuz we only had 5 players. I didn't contribute too much to the team, even tho I tried my best to "be useful". This coming Thursday I get to be a bench warmer again. =) still happy.

The game was reminiscent of my life in junior high school....the fun, the people, the hard-work. *sigh* can't believe 10 years have passed. Clock

Summary for Past Week

Every Tuesday I have to meet with my supervisor to talk about "what I did in the past week and what I'll be doing next week". So far, most of my answers have been "I was working on my AI assignment/projects and I read some graphics paper...and I got to go play badminton now". During the past week, I finished my AI group project. I spent quite a lot of time on researching and writing up my part of the project, and a lot of time on formatting and checking references.

I also spent a lot of time socializing......went to sing k on Friday again, with a different group of friends. It's kinda interesting that I felt so different singing K with different groups of people. One big difference is the type of songs people sing....other differences...I don't know, just feelings I guess.

Main goal for next week is the presentation on Friday. More more research and BS!

Happy Halloween

I had a really great Halloween~ It was soooo nice to hang out with my cs group again. Almost felt like my undergrad life was back. None of us have changed much. It was nice to know that most of us are staying in Toronto, and sad to know Vincent's going to NY and Paul might go back to HK. Jeremy and Ben are already in the states...I guess one major reason I really miss undergrad life is that I miss the people I used to hang out with.

Four most popular artists: Eason Chan, Leo Koo, Hins Cheung and Jay Chou. Paul and I are always the Jay Chou fans....we almost sang every Jay Chou song. Vincent is definitely the master of sing k...knows every single song.  All the other people are hk-ish, so they mostly sang Eason and Leo's songs. I solo-ed every song I could solo and the feedback I got was pretty negative. =.=

It was definitely worth coming back from loo for tonight. I hope the cs group can get together again during Christmas. =)

Crazy again

The best way to "untire" your mind is to tire your body. I went to gym at nigt to tire my body in order to feel mentally better. I spent 40 min on treadmill. 3.5 km at 0.5 incline non-stop. I was completely soaked and had a hard time pulling myself up after the exercise. My body is still sore from yesterday's weight training. I know I shouldn't have done any exercise today...but life is all about pushing your limit. Weird as it sounds, I'm in love with treadmill.
